Please review the following policies before booking or purchasing driving lessons or services from Abi Driving School.

By booking an appointment or purchasing a lesson/package, the student or parent/guardian acknowledges and agrees to these policies.

1. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that plans can change. Because driving lesson appointments are reserved specifically for each student, we require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson.

48-Hour Notice

Students may cancel or reschedule without a cancellation fee when at least 48 hours’ notice is provided.

Less Than 48 Hours’ Notice

A $65 late cancellation/rescheduling fee will apply when a student cancels or requests to reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice.

Same-Day Cancellation

Cancellations made on the day of the appointment are considered late cancellations and are subject to the $65 fee.

No-Show

If a student does not appear for a scheduled lesson and does not contact Abi Driving School, the appointment may be considered a no-show.

A $65 fee may apply, and the scheduled lesson time may also be deducted from the student’s purchased lesson package.

Emergency Situations

We understand that genuine emergencies can happen. Abi Driving School may review emergency situations individually and may waive or modify the applicable fee at its discretion.

2. Lesson Expiration Policy

All prepaid driving lessons and lesson packages must be used within one year (12 months) from the date of purchase.

Unused lessons remaining after the one-year period may expire and become unavailable for use.

Students are responsible for scheduling and completing their lessons before the expiration date.

Important

Purchasing a package does not guarantee that all lessons will remain available indefinitely. Please plan your lessons so that the package is completed within the applicable one-year period.

3. Payment Policy

Payment is required according to the terms displayed at the time of booking or purchase.

We accept:

• Cash
• Zelle
• Check
• Credit/Debit Card through our online payment system

A 5% processing fee may apply to credit/debit card payments.

Applicable fees will be displayed before completing an online card payment.

4. Refund Policy

Driving lessons and packages are purchased for instructional services and reserved appointment time.

Refund requests will be reviewed according to the circumstances and the applicable terms presented at the time of purchase.

Once a lesson has been completed, that lesson is not refundable.

Any approved refund may be subject to applicable payment-processing or administrative fees.

5. Student Arrival & Pickup Policy

Students are expected to be ready at the agreed pickup location at the scheduled appointment time.

If a student is not ready when the instructor arrives, the lesson may still end at the originally scheduled time.

Pickup and drop-off time is included within the student’s scheduled lesson time.

For example, a 2-hour appointment remains a 2-hour appointment even when pickup and drop-off are required.

6. Pickup & Drop-Off Service

Free pickup and drop-off is available to eligible registered students within our designated service area, generally within a 7-mile radius of Abi Driving School.

A $35 pickup/drop-off fee per lesson may apply outside the designated service area.

Abi Driving School reserves the right to determine whether a pickup or drop-off location is within the service area.

7. Student Permit & Identification

Students must have the required and valid documentation before participating in behind-the-wheel instruction.

Students must provide their valid Nevada Instruction Permit when required.

If a student does not have the required documentation, Abi Driving School may be unable to conduct the lesson.

The lesson may be subject to the applicable cancellation or no-show policy.

8. Age & Eligibility Requirements

Students must meet applicable Nevada DMV requirements before beginning behind-the-wheel training.

Students must be at least 15½ years old and have a valid Nevada Instruction Permit for behind-the-wheel instruction.

Students under 18 may have additional driver education requirements.

9. Safe Driving & Student Conduct

Safety is our highest priority.

Students are expected to follow the instructor’s directions and maintain appropriate behavior throughout the lesson.

The instructor may end or refuse a lesson if a student:

• Is under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Is impaired or unable to safely operate the vehicle
• Engages in aggressive, threatening, or unsafe behavior
• Refuses reasonable safety instructions
• Uses a mobile phone while driving in a manner that creates a safety concern
• Creates an unsafe environment for the instructor or others

If a lesson is ended because of unsafe or prohibited behavior, the lesson may be charged or deducted from the student’s package.

10. Cell Phone & Electronic Device Policy

Students should not use handheld mobile devices while driving unless specifically instructed by the instructor for an approved training purpose.

Phones should be placed away or secured before driving begins.

Instructors may ask students to stop using a device if it creates a distraction or safety concern.

11. Vehicle Safety

Our vehicles may be equipped with instructor-side brake controls and other safety equipment.

These features are intended as an additional safety measure and do not replace the student’s responsibility to operate the vehicle safely and follow the instructor’s directions.

12. Weather & Road Conditions

Abi Driving School may modify, postpone, or cancel a lesson when weather, road conditions, visibility, traffic conditions, or other circumstances create an unreasonable safety risk.

When possible, students will be contacted as early as reasonably possible regarding weather-related schedule changes.

If Abi Driving School cancels a lesson for safety reasons, the lesson will be rescheduled without a late cancellation fee.

13. Instructor Scheduling & Vehicle Issues

Occasionally, circumstances such as vehicle maintenance, mechanical problems, instructor emergencies, or other unforeseen events may require us to reschedule a lesson.

We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice and reschedule the appointment as soon as possible.

If Abi Driving School must cancel a prepaid lesson, the student will not be charged a cancellation fee for that cancellation.

14. DMV Road Test Appointments

Students are responsible for scheduling and maintaining their own Nevada DMV road test appointment unless otherwise stated in writing.

Students using Abi Driving School’s DMV Road Test Vehicle Service must provide the correct DMV appointment information.

Our road test vehicle service includes vehicle use and instructor assistance as specified in the selected service.

Important

Abi Driving School does not guarantee that a student will pass the DMV road test.

The Nevada DMV examiner independently determines the student’s result.

15. DMV Road Test Vehicle Service

The $300 DMV Road Test Vehicle Service includes:

• Qualifying Abi Driving School vehicle
• 1 hour of pre-test practice
• Professional driving instructor
• Vehicle use for the scheduled DMV road test

Students must have a valid DMV road test appointment.

After the road test, the student is responsible for arranging transportation home.

16. Lesson + Road Test Packages

Our combined packages currently include:

2 Hours of Lessons + DMV Road Test Vehicle — $430

4 Hours of Lessons + DMV Road Test Vehicle — $530

6 Hours of Lessons + DMV Road Test Vehicle — $650

The package includes the services specifically stated in the package description.

A DMV road test appointment is the student’s responsibility unless otherwise arranged.

17. Road Test Failure

Abi Driving School provides instruction and vehicle services but cannot guarantee a passing DMV road test result.

If a student does not pass the road test, additional lessons or another DMV road test vehicle service may be purchased separately.

Fees paid for completed lessons or services are not refunded because a student did not pass the DMV examination.

18. Personal Belongings

Students are responsible for their personal belongings during lessons.

Abi Driving School is not responsible for personal property that is lost, damaged, or left in a training vehicle.

19. Instructor-Student Relationship

Our instructors are committed to providing respectful, professional, and safety-focused instruction.

Students and parents/guardians are expected to communicate respectfully with instructors and staff.

Abi Driving School reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services when necessary to protect the safety and well-being of students, instructors, staff, or the public.

20. Package Scheduling

Students who purchase a package are responsible for scheduling their lessons in a timely manner.

Abi Driving School cannot guarantee that a student’s preferred day or time will always be available.

Appointments are subject to instructor and vehicle availability.

21. Policy Changes

Abi Driving School may update its policies, services, prices, and scheduling procedures when necessary.

The terms applicable to a purchase or booking will be those presented to the customer at the time of the transaction, subject to applicable law.
